If you’ve ever finished an escape room and thought, “We smashed that!”, then this one’s for you. The Escape Room Championships are back-— and they’re completely free to enter. All you need is a team, a screen, and your collective brainpower.
Hosted online at erchamp.com, this annual event brings players from all over the world together to solve a set of high-quality escape room-style challenges. There’s no need to travel anywhere or pay anything - it’s all done online, and it’s designed for people who love a good puzzle, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just a casual player looking for something fun to do with friends.
So… What Actually Is It?
Think of it like a virtual escape room, but with a competitive twist. You and your team (we recommend 2–4 players) will work together in real-time to crack codes, solve riddles, and complete digital rooms faster than the rest of the world. There are leaderboards, a countdown clock, and plenty of head-scratching moments — we've just completed the stress test rounds yesterday and it’s great fun!
The games are free to play and beautifully made - more than just some hastily cobbled-together puzzles. Expect clever design, strong storylines, and that sense of pressure you get in a real escape room, all from the comfort of your sofa.

Why We Love It at Puzzled
As escape room owners, we’re always looking for ways to get people playing - and this is one of the best free puzzle events we’ve seen. It’s such a great introduction to escape room logic if you’ve never done one before. And if you’ve played with us at Puzzled Escape Rooms, you’ll probably recognise some of the same mechanics: teamwork, lateral thinking, and that satisfying "a-ha!" moment when something clicks.
We’ll be taking part too - though we can’t promise we’ll make it to the top of the leaderboard (we’ll blame it on the snacks).
